Welcome to our first Review/Giveaway at My Four Monkeys! I am so excited about these first products, not only because they are great products, but because I know this business owner personally. Heather Minter is the hands behind Heather’s Homemade Classics. She’s a fellow “mommy blogger”, and also a fellow homeschooler. She has been making soaps, lotions, and candles in her country home since April of 2008. Heather makes three main products: lotions, soaps, and candles. We have been using her products for some time now, since we have a house full of people with allergies. All her products are completely natural, and smell wonderful!
Her lotions are made from goat’s milk, honey & shea butter. They do not leave your skin feeling greasy, but very soft. The lotion comes in a bigger 8 oz. bottle or the smaller 2 oz. bottle. I recently had an opportunity to try some of her Banana Coconut Lotion. It smells just like Banana Laffy Taffy! I’ve also heard that her new Passion Fruit & Guava is fabulous too. This lotion has done wonders for many of her clients. Don’t take my word for it. Just read her testimonials on her website!
Heather offers several different soaps, goat’s milk soaps (great for sensitive skin), oatmeal soaps (soothes itchy skin), honey soaps (great for acne), apricot scrub soaps, and shaving soaps (makes a great lather!). My daughter, Kylie, has eczema, and we have been using Heather’s oatmeal soap (unscented because of Kylie’s allergies) for some time now. We have struggled since she was born trying to get her eczema under control, and Kylie’s eczema showed a marked improvement when we started using this soap. All of Heather’s soaps come in fabulous scents. One of my favorites is Midsummer Night for my husband!

Heather also offers a wide variety of scents in her candles. The candles are hand made and poured into mason jars, and come in two sizes, 16 oz. and 8 oz. jars. All of Heather’s candles are made from all natural soy, and last 50% longer than paraffin wax candles! Soy wax burns cleaner and cooler than other waxes, which means, once again, they’re great for allergy sufferers. Heather scents her candles so that they will be fragrant whether they are burning or not. She also offers soy wax tarts. I love these, as they are easy to use, and the scent last all day. Since this country momma really is out in the country, Heather only ships on Saturdays when she’s in town. But I guarantee these products are worth the wait!

Buy it: You can purchase any of these all natural products at Heather’s online store. Just visit http://heathershomemadeclassics.com, and browse through what she has in stock.
This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to our winner!
